KORIBOR Rates Show Incremental Changes in Short-Term Lending

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced slight fluctuations in certain short-term lending terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR for the 1-week and 1-month terms remained stable at 2.50% and 2.58%, respectively, compared to the previous session. The 2-month term saw a minor increase from 2.64% to 2.65%. Additionally, the 3-month term stayed constant at 2.73%, while the 6-month term showed a slight rise from 2.77% to 2.78%. The 12-month term experienced an increment from 2.90% to 2.92%.

These rates reflect the interest rates at which banks lend to one another and are critical indicators of the short-term lending market's current state. The observed changes may influence financial institutions' lending practices and the broader economic landscape.
