Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) released at 11:00 a.m. indicate a rise in rates for various short-term loan terms, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR saw an increase from the previous session's 2.81% to 3.00%. Similarly, the 1-month rate rose to 3.03% from 2.93%, and the 2-month rate increased to 3.10% from 3.03%. The 3-month rate also experienced an uptick, moving from 3.10% to 3.16%.

The 6-month KORIBOR showed a slight increase, rising from 3.40% to 3.42%, while the 12-month rate remained steady at 3.74%. These changes reflect a trend of increasing rates across shorter-term lending periods, potentially impacting borrowing costs for financial institutions in the country.
