Korea Interbank Offered Rates Show Stability Across Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable across most terms, as reported at 11:00 a.m. by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency. This stability reflects a steady interbank lending environment in South Korea.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR held firm at 3.00%, showing no change from the previous session. The 1-month rate experienced a slight dip, moving from 3.04% to 3.03%. Similarly, the 2-month and 6-month rates both decreased by 0.01%, settling at 3.05% for both. The 3-month KORIBOR also saw a reduction, slipping from 3.09% to 3.08%.

Meanwhile, the 12-month KORIBOR rate remained unchanged at 2.85%, indicating consistent lending expectations for the longer term. These figures provide insights into the current conditions of the interbank lending market in South Korea.
