Korea Interbank Offered Rates Show Slight Movement

The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) saw a minor fluctuation in their rates as reported today by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency. The rates, posted at 11:00 a.m., provide insight into the borrowing costs for banks within South Korea for different terms.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 2-month KORIBOR remained stable at 2.50% and 2.68%, respectively, showing no change from the previous session. Meanwhile, the 1-month rate experienced a slight increase from 2.59% to 2.60%. The 3-month and 6-month rates also stayed consistent at 2.78% and 2.85%, respectively.

The 12-month rate saw a minor increment, rising from 3.09% in the previous session to 3.10%. These rates serve as critical benchmarks for lending and borrowing activities among financial institutions in South Korea.
