Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) were reported with slight increases in mid-term rates, as indicated by Yonhap Infomax at 11:00 a.m. The financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency provided the updated rates for various terms.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR for the 2-month term rose from 2.75% to 2.76%, while the 3-month term increased from 2.88% to 2.90%. The 6-month term also saw an increase from 3.07% to 3.09%. However, the rates for the 1-week, 1-month, and 12-month terms remained unchanged at 2.50%, 2.62%, and 3.57%, respectively.

These rates are pivotal for financial institutions in Korea as they serve as a benchmark for interbank lending and influence various financial products. The slight increases observed may reflect adjustments in market conditions and expectations for future economic activities.
