New york: The Korea Exchange (KRX) announced on Monday its plans to hold an investor road show in New York later this week. Scheduled for Thursday, the event aims to highlight South Korea's initiatives to enhance foreign investor access to its capital markets, as well as ongoing regulatory reforms.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KRX will also sign a memorandum of understanding with the New York Stock Exchange during the event. This agreement seeks to strengthen collaboration in market operations and infrastructure between the two exchanges.
In his statement, KRX Chairman Jeong Eun-bo emphasized the bourse operator's commitment to refining investment rules to facilitate greater foreign participation in South Korea's capital markets.
