Seoul: The Korea Exchange (KRX) announced on Wednesday that it will suspend its night trading session of derivatives starting September 23, just before the Chuseok holiday begins. The suspension will commence at 6 p.m. on September 23 and conclude at 6 a.m. on September 24.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the decision aims to aid market participants in managing risks during the holiday period, which spans from September 24 to 27. The KRX stated that this measure will apply to all derivative products traded during the night sessions.

The derivative products affected by this closure include futures for the KOSPI 200, the U.S. dollar, and three-year government bonds.
