Seoul: Kolon Industries Inc. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 29.1 billion won (US$20.9 million), marking a decrease of 33.8 percent from the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's regulatory filing revealed that operating profit for the April to June period declined by 25.7 percent year-on-year to 45.3 billion won. Despite the drop in profit, revenue saw a slight increase of 0.1 percent, reaching 1.25 trillion won.
