Seoul: Korea Gas (KOGAS) Corp. on Thursday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 406.8 billion won (US$284.9 million), turning from a profit of 333.5 billion won a year earlier. The financial report indicates a significant downturn in the company's performance compared to the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the October-December period fell 59.7 percent on-year to 473.6 billion won. Additionally, the revenue decreased by 9.9 percent, amounting to 8.99 trillion won. These figures highlight the challenges faced by KOGAS in maintaining its financial stability during the fourth quarter.
