Seoul: KG Mobility Corp. reported a significant increase in sales for September, driven by a robust demand for its vehicles in international markets. The company announced that it sold 10,636 vehicles last month, marking a 39.3 percent rise compared to the 7,637 units sold in September of the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's domestic sales saw a decline, reaching 4,100 units, which is a 9.6 percent decrease from the same month last year. However, this dip in local sales was offset by an impressive growth in exports, which nearly doubled to 6,536 units. This surge was largely attributed to heightened sales of the Torres EVX sport utility vehicle (SUV) and the Actyon Hybrid model.

For the period from January to September, KG Mobility's cumulative sales increased by 2.2 percent, totaling 82,388 units, up from 80,643 units during the same timeframe in the previous year. The automaker's current lineup is heavily focused on SUVs and includes eight models: the Actyon, Tivoli, Korando, Rexton, Torres, the all-electric Torres EVX SUV, Musso Sports pickup, and the Musso electric vehicle (EV) pickup.
