Seoul: Jeju Air on Monday reported a 2025 net loss of 143.6 billion won (US$98.3 million), turning from a profit of 21.7 billion won a year earlier. The company revealed this downturn in a regulatory filing, highlighting the significant financial challenges it faced over the past year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Jeju Air experienced an operating loss of 110.9 billion won for the year. This figure starkly contrasts with the 79.9 billion won profit recorded in the previous year. The airline's annual revenue also declined by 18.4 percent, totaling 1.57 trillion won.
