Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior invites the public to express their loyalty by participating in the ceremony of blessing and celebrating the holy water for the royal ceremony to celebrate the 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 7-8 at temples in 76 provinces nationwide. Ms. Traisuree Traisaranakul, Secretary to the Minister of Interior and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, said that according to the Steering Committee for the Celebration of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2024, chaired by Mr. Settha Thavisin, Prime Minister, who has assigned the Ministry of Interior to prepare holy water for the royal ceremony, and Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has assigned the agencies of the Ministry and all provincial governors to carry out every step in a manner befitting His Majesty. On July 4, 2024, the Ministry of Interior, together with the governors of 76 provinces and all provincial networks, organized a water-sacrific ial ceremony at 107 sacred water sources in each province nationwide at 2:49 p.m. After this, every province will hold a ceremony to bless the holy water and a candlelight procession to celebrate the holy water on July 7-8, 2024. Then, on July 14, 2024, the governors of all 76 provinces nationwide will bring the holy water jars to be kept at the Ministry of Interior. On July 25, 2024, there will be a ceremony to bring the holy water jars to Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklararm to perform the holy water blessing ceremony. Ms. Traisulee said that she would like to invite all citizens nationwide to join in expressing their loyalty in this auspicious and sacred ceremony, and to consider it a way to participate in worship and offer blessings to His Majesty the King in the ceremony of chanting holy water on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 17.09 hrs. and the ceremony of circling the holy water on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 12.00
