Innospace Teams Up with Grahaa Space for Multi-Launch Satellite Services

Bengaluru: Innospace Co., a South Korean space startup, announced its partnership with India's Grahaa Space to offer multi-launch services aimed at enhancing their presence in the global small satellite market. The collaboration was solidified with the signing of a memorandum of understanding during the Korea-India Space Day event held in Bengaluru. This event was co-hosted by the Korea AeroSpace Administration and IN-SPACe, India's space industry promotion and regulatory agency.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the partnership will focus on developing a multi-launch service model. This model is designed to provide customers with multiple launch opportunities, improving both schedule flexibility and cost efficiency. This marks a continuation of the relationship established during Innospace's inaugural commercial launch of its Hanbit-Nano rocket last December, in which Grahaa Space participated as a satellite customer.

Although the December mission did not succeed, Grahaa Space appreciated Innospace's technical expertise, prompting the expansion of their cooperative efforts. Innospace CEO Kim Soo-jong expressed the company's commitment to demonstrating the reliability of their launch vehicle through repeated launch opportunities. He emphasized the goal of becoming a trusted partner for global satellite customers by aligning launch services closely with customer needs.

Ramesh Kumar V, CEO of Grahaa Space, shared his confidence in the partnership, highlighting a mutual focus on reliability, transparency, and continuous improvement as they advance their nano satellite roadmap.
