Seoul:Hyundai Motor Co. reported that its second-generation Palisade, the company's flagship large SUV, has sold nearly 300,000 units worldwide within 20 months of its launch.
According to Yonhap News Agency, 281,920 units of the all-new Palisade had been sold by August since the introduction of the fully redesigned model in January 2025, averaging monthly sales of around 15,000 units.
At this current rate, the cumulative sales of the second-generation Palisade are anticipated to surpass 300,000 units soon. The latest model made its debut approximately six years after the first-generation model was launched in December 2018.
The hybrid version of the Palisade has been particularly popular, accounting for 72.1 percent of sales in the first eight months of this year, with strong demand seen especially in North America.
Combined sales of both generations of the Palisade reached 1.24 million units by August. The model surpassed 1 million units in cumulative sales in May 2025, around six and a half years after its initial debut.
