San jose: Hyundai Motor Group announced it will host its first global tech talent forum in the United States this September, marking a significant step in its strategy to recruit leading engineers and enhance its future mobility capabilities. The Hyundai Motor Group Tech Talent Forum 2026 is scheduled for September 17-18 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and aims to bring together key executives and global talent from emerging technology fields.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the forum will involve participation from several Hyundai affiliates, including Hyundai Motor Co., Kia Corp., Hyundai Motor America, Kia America, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), Boston Dynamics Inc., Motional Inc., and 42dot Inc. The event will feature keynote speeches by top executives, including Hyundai Motor CEO Jose Munoz. Additionally, there will be sessions for direct engagement with technical leaders and exhibitions that showcase the group's latest technologies and future vision.
Applications to attend the forum are currently open and can be submitted through Hyundai's official website until June 30. In tandem with the forum, Hyundai is also launching its first integrated global recruitment program aimed at acquiring top-tier talent worldwide, with applications for recruitment open from Monday through May 22.
Hyundai Motor Group Vice President Kim Hye-in, who leads the group's human resources operations, emphasized that the talent forum will act as a crucial platform for identifying outstanding talent and fostering technological collaboration.
