Hyundai Motor and POSCO Holdings Lead Declines in KOSPI 200 Closing Prices

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw a mixed performance with several significant declines in stock prices. Hyundai Motor experienced a decrease of 7,500, closing at 286,000, while POSCO Holdings fell by 10,000, ending the day at 308,000. These declines were among the most notable in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other major stocks also faced downward trends. SK Telecom dropped by 600, closing at 53,000, and Hyundai Elevator saw a decline of 1,200, ending at 91,300. Additionally, SK and Shinsegae both experienced decreases, with their prices falling by 5,000 and 6,500, respectively.

The market witnessed a few upward movements as well. Amorepacific Holdings rose by 200, closing at 27,400, while Miwon Commercial increased by 1,400, finishing at 152,900. Hankuk Carbon and LS also saw positive changes, with increases of 800 and 5,800, respectively.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 displayed varied performances across different sectors, with some companies gaining ground while others faced significant declines, reflecting the ongoing fluctuations in the market.
