Seoul: Hybe, the K-pop powerhouse behind global hit boy band BTS, on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter net loss of 274.5 billion won (US$190.5 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago.
According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for the October-December period was 4.6 billion won, down 92.9 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue fell 1.4 percent to 716.4 billion won.
The loss was 588.9 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
