Hotel Shilla on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 6 billion won (US$4 million), marking a significant shift from a loss of 6.2 billion won a year earlier. This turnaround highlights the company's recovery and improved financial performance in the January-March period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the first quarter reached 20.4 billion won, a notable improvement from a loss of 2.5 billion won in the same period the previous year. This positive operating profit indicates a strong operational recovery for Hotel Shilla.
Additionally, Hotel Shilla's revenue increased by 8.4 percent, reaching 1.05 trillion won in the first quarter. This rise in revenue suggests a growing demand for the company's services and a successful business strategy in navigating the challenges faced in the previous year.
