Heavy Rainfall Expected Across South Korea’s Major Cities

Seoul: South Korea's 12 major cities are bracing for heavy rainfall on Sunday, with temperatures expected to range between highs of 26 to 30 degrees Celsius and lows of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. The weather forecast predicts significant precipitation across the region, prompting caution among residents and travelers.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul and Incheon are expected to experience rain with a 70% and 60% chance of precipitation, respectively, while Suwon will see a similar pattern with a 70% likelihood of rain. Cheongju and Daejeon are also predicted to have a 60% chance of rainfall, with temperatures slightly lower than other major cities.

Chuncheon and Gangneung are forecasted to have a 70% chance of rain, highlighting the widespread nature of the expected weather conditions across the country. Jeonju and Gwangju are also likely to see rain, with a 70% probability. Jeju and Busan are facing the highest likelihood of rain, with an 80% chance, making them the most impacted areas in terms of expected precipitation.

Daegu is forecasted to experience a 60% chance of rain, rounding out the list of cities expecting wet conditions. Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for the potential impact of the heavy rain, which could affect daily activities and travel plans.
