Seoul: Hanssem Co. reported a sharp decrease in its first-quarter net profit, posting 9.6 billion won (US$6.8 million), which represents a decline of 80.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the January to March period stood at 6.4 billion won, marking a decrease of 50.4 percent from the previous year. Additionally, Hanssem's revenue fell by 8.7 percent, totaling 443.4 billion won.
