Minneapolis: Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants has ended his longest hitless skid of this season at three games. Batting third in the lineup, Lee went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a 7-6 loss to the Minnesota Twins at Target Field.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee's recent three-game hitless streak saw his batting average drop from .312 to .287. He is currently batting .286 with a .333 on-base percentage and a .461 slugging percentage. Despite a strong April performance with a .324/.369/.539 line, Lee has struggled in May, posting a .184/.200/.263 line so far. His single off starter Pablo Lopez in the first inning marked the end of his hitless run, followed by a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning to drive in a run.

Elsewhere in Major League Baseball on Sunday, Kim Hye-seong of the Los Angeles Dodgers batted 1-for-3 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kim was thrown out at second base attempting to stretch a single into a double, an event that negated his first potential extra-base hit in MLB after a video review overturned the initial safe call. Kim, who has been called up from Triple-A earlier this month, is batting .318 over nine games, with all seven hits being singles. The Dodgers secured an 8-1 victory at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Bae Ji-hwan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, recently brought back from the minors, stole second base as a pinch runner against the Atlanta Braves at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Bae now has two steals in two games since his call-up, although he remains 0-for-5 in four games this season.
