Seoul: Hankook and Company on Wednesday reported a first-quarter net income of 124.7 billion won (US$83.7 million), up 8 percent from a year earlier. The company shared this financial update in a recent regulatory filing. According to Yonhap News Agency, Hankook and Company also reported an operating profit of 121.7 billion won for the quarter, which is a slight decline compared to the 126.9 billion won recorded in the same period last year. The company's revenue for the quarter fell 2.7 percent, amounting to 378.4 billion won.
