Seoul: GS Retail Co. on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 84.7 billion won (US$58.4 million), continuing its negative financial performance compared with the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the October-December period stood at 53.3 billion won, marking an increase of 68.5 percent from the previous year. Despite this improvement in operating profit, the company still reported a net loss. Additionally, GS Retail's revenue rose by 3.5 percent, reaching 3.02 trillion won.
