Seoul: GS Holdings on Thursday reported its third-quarter net profit of 407.7 billion won (US$281.6 million), marking a significant increase of 953.3 percent from the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating income for the July-September period reached 870.6 billion won, reflecting a 37.8 percent growth from the previous year. Additionally, sales for the quarter rose by 2.3 percent, totaling 6.53 trillion won.
