San francisco: Genesis, the independent luxury brand of Hyundai Motor Group, has unveiled the GV90, its flagship large electric sport utility vehicle (SUV), with a driving range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge. Genesis introduced the GV90 Neolun and GV90 at a world premiere event in San Francisco on Wednesday (local time).

According to Yonhap News Agency, the GV90 Neolun features independently opening hidden B-pillar coach doors, while the standard GV90 comes with conventional swing doors. The GV90 is powered by a 123.5-kWh high-voltage battery, providing a driving range of 500 km on a single charge for the seven-seat model, based on the company's in-house testing.

When using a 350-kW fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 22 minutes. The GV90 also features a range of advanced technologies, including the world's first roof airbag, multi-chamber air suspension, and a new power supply system. It also comes with Pleos Connect, Hyundai Motor Group's in-vehicle infotainment system, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 3.
