FM Cho Stresses Cooperation on Safe Passage of Strait of Hormuz in Phone Talks with Japanese Counterpart

Seoul: Foreign Minister Cho Hyun held phone talks with his Japanese counterpart, Toshimitsu Motegi, on Thursday, emphasizing the importance of cooperative efforts for ensuring peace in the Middle East.

According to Yonhap News Agency, during the discussion, the ministers highlighted the significance of peace in the Middle East and the free, safe passage of the Strait of Hormuz for both nations. They underscored the need for ongoing communication and collaboration regarding this critical issue.

Furthermore, the two ministers agreed on the importance of maintaining future-oriented and stable bilateral relations. They expressed a commitment to continue shuttle diplomacy between their respective leaders to further strengthen ties between the two countries.
