Doosan Enerbility Secures Major U.S. Order for Gas Turbines for Data Center Project

Seoul: Doosan Enerbility Co., a South Korean plant and gas turbine supplier, announced that it has secured an order from a U.S. company to deliver seven 380-megawatt-class gas turbines for a data center project. The company will begin supplying one gas turbine and generator each month starting in May 2029, eventually fulfilling a total of 12 gas turbine deliveries to the client.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company did not disclose the contract's financial details or the client's name, citing business confidentiality. However, industry sources suggest that the turbines may be supplied to xAI, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Elon Musk.

Doosan Enerbility attributed its recent success in obtaining gas turbine orders in the United States to its proven performance, quick delivery times, and service support capabilities. The company's subsidiary, Doosan Turbomachinery Services, based in Houston, played a key role in supporting these achievements.
