Seoul: Doosan Bobcat on Thursday reported a second-quarter net profit of 199.5 billion won (US$136 million), marking an increase of 63.8 percent from the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the leading manufacturer of compact farming and construction equipment disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the April-June period was 291.7 billion won, representing a 42.9 percent rise from the previous year. Additionally, the company reported that sales climbed by 11.2 percent, reaching 2.44 trillion won.
