Seoul: DB HiTek, an integrated specialty foundry service provider, on Wednesday reported a second-quarter net profit of 115.6 billion won (US$80.8 million), up 92.7 percent from a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for the April-June period was 105.2 billion won, marking a 42.5 percent increase from the previous year. The company's revenue also showed significant growth, rising 22.8 percent to reach 414.5 billion won.

DB HiTek's robust financial performance underscores its strengthened position in the semiconductor industry, as it continues to expand its specialty foundry services. The substantial year-on-year growth in net and operating income reflects the company's strategic initiatives and heightened demand for its services in the global market.
