Amran: The Endowments and Zakat offices in Amran commemorated the 19th anniversary of the passing of Imam Majd al-Din al-Mu'ayyadi, in the presence of a number of scholars.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event affirmed that commemorating the anniversary reflects loyalty to the scholars who carried the banner of religion and spread knowledge. They highlighted that the deceased was among the flags of guidance who combined jihad and education.

They also noted his prominent role in preserving the Zaydi school of thought from misleading ideas, confronting Takfiri Wahhabi ideology, and producing scientific encyclopedias that served as a reference for generations.
