Seoul: CheilWorldwide Inc., a major South Korean marketing firm, on Monday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 64.4 billion won (US$44.2 million), up 66.1 percent from a year earlier. The company made this announcement in a regulatory filing, highlighting a significant increase in its financial performance for the period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the October-December period rose 9.7 percent year-on-year to 90.4 billion won. The revenue for the same period increased by 3 percent, reaching 1.19 trillion won. These figures align with market expectations, as the average estimate of net profit by analysts was recorded at 63.9 billion won, based on a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
