Seoul: Celltrion on Monday reported its second-quarter net profit of 371.3 billion won (US$254.8 million), marking an increase of 486.6 percent from a year earlier.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean healthcare and biopharmaceutical company revealed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the April-June period was 451.8 billion won, reflecting an increase of 86.3 percent compared to the previous year. The company's revenue also saw a significant rise, climbing 45 percent to reach 1.39 trillion won.
