Seoul: K-pop sensation BTS will release a new album featuring all seven members on March 20, marking its first full-group comeback in nearly four years, the band's agency said Thursday. The album is set to be the group's first release since the anthology album "Proof" in June 2022.

According to Yonhap News Agency, BTS also released a handwritten New Year's letter expressing gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and sharing how much the band missed them. RM, the group's leader, conveyed in his message that he had "waited more desperately than anyone else" for this comeback.

The group's hiatus was due to members fulfilling South Korea's mandatory military service. All seven members have now completed their service. In South Korea, all able-bodied men are required to serve at least 18 months in the military due to the ongoing security threats from North Korea.

Following the album's release, BTS is scheduled to embark on a world tour, with further details to be announced at a later date.
