Seoul: Prosecutors said Tuesday they have indicted a Brazilian national while in custody for allegedly stalking Jungkook of K-pop boy group BTS and trespassing at his residence in Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors Office indicted the woman, in her 30s, last week on charges of violating the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes and trespassing. The suspect reportedly visited Jungkook's home approximately 20 times, either pressing the doorbell or leaving letters, between December and January.

The Brazilian national confessed to prosecutors that her actions were motivated "out of love for Jungkook." Initially apprehended in December, she was released after being caught in the act. Despite police prohibiting her from coming within 100 meters of Jungkook's residence in Seoul's Yongsan Ward, she continued to attempt visits.

In February, police referred the case to prosecutors after the woman persisted in her attempts to visit Jungkook's home.
