Boryung Corp. to Invest US$10 Million in U.S. Space Firm Intuitive Machines.

Seoul: Boryung Corp., a South Korean biopharmaceutical company, announced its decision to invest US$10 million in the U.S.-based space firm Intuitive Machines as part of its strategy to expand its space-related business endeavors. The investment will involve the purchase of 952,381 Class A common shares in Intuitive Machines. According to Yonhap News Agency, Intuitive Machines successfully landed its spacecraft, Nova-C, on the Moon's southern pole region in February and plans to execute a second lunar mission early next year. This collaboration marks a continuation of the strategic partnership that Boryung established with Intuitive Machines a year ago, aimed at building infrastructure for life science studies on the Moon and its surrounding environment. Boryung has been actively seeking opportunities to expand into the global space market. This effort includes the establishment of a joint venture with Axiom Space, a U.S. space infrastructure developer. The company has identified a demand for space medicine through its "Human in Space" program and is committed to advancing research in this field through its cooperation with Intuitive Machines.
