Seoul: K-pop idol group BIGBANG will release a new digital single on Aug. 19 to mark the 20th anniversary of its debut, its agency YG Entertainment announced Monday. The song, titled "BiiiG," will be the group's first new release in over four years, following "Still Life" in April 2022.

According to Yonhap News Agency, YG Entertainment stated that "'BiiiG' is the song that most clearly shows BIGBANG's present as it marks its 20th debut anniversary." The agency expressed hopes that fans will look forward to another musical spectrum from BIGBANG, highlighting the unique musical world the group has built over many years.

BIGBANG debuted in 2006 and became a leading group in the second generation of K-pop, producing hits such as "Lies," "Last Farewell," "Haru Haru," "Fantastic Baby," and "Bang Bang Bang."

The group is also set to launch a new world tour, "XX: Cosmos," beginning at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, near Seoul, from Aug. 21 to 23. The tour will feature 33 shows across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
