Baydha Commemorates Anniversary of Scholar Mu’aydi Death

Baydha: The offices of the Endowments and Guidance Authority and the Zakat Authority in Baydha Governorate organized a cultural event to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of the scholar Majd al-Din al-Mu'aydi under the slogan "Imam Majd al-Din: A Journey of Knowledge and Jihad."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the Director of the General Authority for Zakat in the governorate, Haider al-Gharib. Muhammad al-Saqqaf, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary of Imam al-Mu'aydi, describing it as a religious and educational milestone for acquiring faith-based knowledge and strengthening one's connection with Allah and the Prophet's family.

He reviewed aspects of the life of the scholar Al-Mu'aydi, his faith-based stances, and his dedication to spreading beneficial knowledge. Abdulrahman Al-Haddar, Head of the Scholars and Learners Unit, explained that the scholar Al-Mu'aydi was one of the nation's prominent figures who followed the true path of the Prophet Muhammad, enlightening people about religious sciences and correcting misconceptions.

He discussed Imam Al-Mu'aydi's life and his contributions to the service of knowledge, his emulation of the guiding lights of Islam, his dedication to disseminating religious sciences and establishing scholarly classes, as well as the many scholars and preachers who graduated under his tutelage.

Meanwhile, Qasim Al-Wajih, Director of the Media and Awareness Department at the General Authority for Zakat, highlighted the approach taken by Imam Al-Mu'aydi and his distinguished thought, knowledge, and noble character.
