Seoul: The Army announced the launch of a new tactical unit designed to demonstrate the operational techniques of drones and robots, aiming to advance future combat technologies. This initiative marks a significant step in modernizing military strategies and adapting to evolving warfare scenarios.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the newly established unit will focus on showcasing a variety of tactical skills utilizing manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) combat systems. These demonstrations will be featured at major events and will include capabilities such as drone tactical flight, swarm flight operations, legged robots, and unmanned ground vehicles. By doing so, the Army intends to explore the potential military applications of these technologies and to develop innovative tactics and operational methods.
