Haenam: Two people were seriously injured when a light aircraft crashed in the southwestern county of Haenam on Saturday, authorities said. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. as the aircraft was traveling from Muan Airport to Sani Airfield.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the two individuals involved in the crash were an instructor and a student, both in their 20s, from Chodang University. They were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment following the accident.

Authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
