Seoul: Two additional South Korean nationals have been rescued in Cambodia as part of a crackdown on online scams, while approximately 10 more have been arrested, Foreign Minister Cho Hyun announced Monday. This development follows the return of over 60 Korean nationals associated with these crimes from the Southeast Asian nation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Cho disclosed these figures as South Korea intensifies its efforts to combat organized crime schemes targeting its citizens. The move comes in response to the public outcry following the tragic death of a South Korean college student, reportedly murdered after being tortured by an online job scam ring.
