Seoul: A unified Korean table tennis team triumphed at the International Table Tennis Federation World Tour Platinum Korea Open, capturing the mixed doubles title. South Korea's Jang Woo-jin and North Korea's Cha Hyo-sim joined forces to defeat China's Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha with scores of 5-11, 11-3, 11-4, 11-8 in the final.

According to Yonhap News Agency, this victory in 2018 was a significant moment of sports diplomacy, highlighting cooperation between the two Koreas amid ongoing political tensions.
