Washington: The commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command revealed that the United States has "not yet" witnessed North Korea's atmospheric reentry capability. This technology is crucial for the regime to enhance its intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) program. According to Yonhap News Agency, Adm. Samuel Paparo made these comments during a forum in Washington. The forum took place as North Korea intensifies its efforts to develop reliable long-range warhead delivery systems, evidenced by last month's test-launch of a new Hwasong-19 ICBM. Paparo stated, "Not yet. We've not yet seen that capability, but we just see continued testing toward that," during the event hosted by the Brookings Institution.
