Seoul: The share of Americans with a positive impression of K-pop megaband BTS reached a record high of 46 percent in the second quarter, according to the group's agency, citing U.S. market data. This marks the highest figure recorded since global music data analytics firm Luminate began collecting relevant data in 2021. The latest number is a significant increase of 12 percentage points from the initial figure of 34 percent.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the poll also revealed that 42 percent of respondents were aware of BTS, which is 18 percentage points higher than the average awareness level of 24 percent for all surveyed artists. BigHit Music, the agency representing BTS, stated, "The latest survey results show that BTS has established a broad base of public support in the United States that extends beyond its fandom."
