Trump arrives in Singapore ahead of summit with N.K. leader: report

SINGAPORE, U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Singapore on Sunday, as he is set to hold a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un this week.

Air Force One, which carried Trump, landed at Paya Lebar Air Base after a some 17-hour flight from Canada, where he attended the Group of Seven summit.

Trump and Kim are scheduled to hold the summit on Tuesday at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island over the North's denuclearization in exchange for security assurance for the regime.
