Incheon: Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, currently the leading figures in men's tennis, are set to face each other in an exhibition match in South Korea this weekend. This encounter could provide a glimpse of what might unfold in the final of the year's first major tournament later in the month.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the exhibition match, organized by Hyundai Card, will feature the top-ranked Alcaraz against world No. 2 Sinner. This event is part of the "Super Match" series and will take place at Inspire Arena in Incheon, near Seoul, at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
This will be the debut appearance in South Korea for both players and serves as a preparatory event for the Australian Open, scheduled from January 18 to February 1, marking the first Grand Slam of the year.
Alcaraz, a 22-year-old from Spain, boasts six Grand Slam singles titles, including victories at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2024, as well as the French Open and the U.S. Open in 2025. He is recognized for his aggressive all-court play, leveraging his speed and athleticism.
