Seoul: Chinese actress Tang Wei has given birth to her second son, her agency announced Thursday, following the star's own social media announcement a day earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, a representative for the 47-year-old actress confirmed that Tang Wei had recently delivered a son but did not provide additional details about the birth's timing.

Tang Wei, married to South Korean film director Kim Tae-yong, shared the joyous news on her social media account on Wednesday. She posted a heartwarming photo capturing the family's hands clasped together. In her post, Tang wrote, "Summer said, 'A family of four's journey begins with foal,'" alluding to her first daughter and her newborn's nickname.

The couple's love story began after their collaboration on the 2009 Korean film "Late Autumn," leading to their marriage in 2014. They welcomed their first daughter in 2016, expanding their family further with the recent arrival of their son.
