Stray Kids’ Lee Know Donates 200 Million Won to Celebrate Birthday

Seoul: Lee Know, a member of the K-pop boy group Stray Kids, has donated 200 million won (US$139,460) to celebrate his birthday, his agency announced on Monday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the singer contributed 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul and the cat protection group Nabiya on Saturday. The agency, JYP Entertainment, stated that the hospital will allocate the funds to support adult patients with severe illnesses and pediatric patients. Meanwhile, the animal organization will utilize the donation for the rescue, protection, and care of abandoned cats.

Lee Know expressed his gratitude in a statement released by the agency, saying, "Thanks to the warm support of my fans on this special day, I was able to share in a meaningful way." He added, "I sincerely hope my heartfelt gesture brings strength and comfort to all the precious lives and people facing hardship in the world."

In related news, Stray Kids is set to release their new album titled "Do It" on November 21.
