Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained unchanged across all terms as of the latest update. This stability was observed in the rates posted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for various terms, including the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms, have all held steady. The rates stood at 2.75% for the 1-week term, 2.82% for the 1-month term, 2.89% for the 2-month term, and 2.98% for the 3-month term. Meanwhile, the 6-month term maintained a rate of 3.24%, and the 12-month term was also unchanged at 3.71%.
This consistency in rates indicates a stable economic environment, as the KORIBOR serves as a benchmark for lending rates among banks in South Korea. The unchanged rates suggest that no immediate fluctuations are expected in the interbank lending market.
