Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained relatively stable according to the latest data released at 11:00 a.m. The rates, which are a crucial benchmark for lending costs between banks in South Korea, showed minimal fluctuations across various terms.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR held steady at 2.50%, unchanged from the previous session. The 1-month rate saw a slight increase to 2.53% from 2.52%. Meanwhile, the 2-month and 3-month rates remained constant at 2.53% and 2.55%, respectively.
The 6-month term experienced a marginal decrease, moving from 2.54% to 2.53%. Similarly, the 12-month rate showed a small dip, declining from 2.56% to 2.55%. These rates are monitored closely by financial institutions for implications on lending and borrowing costs within the country.
