South Korea’s Major Cities Brace for Sunny and Rainy Conditions

Seoul: South Korea's 12 major cities are experiencing a mix of weather conditions today, with temperatures and precipitation varying significantly across the region. The forecast predicts a range from sunny skies to heavy rain, impacting daily activities and preparations for residents.

According to Yonhap News Agency, cities such as Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon are expecting sunny weather with a high temperature of 38°C in Seoul and 60% chance of rain. Incheon will see a similar forecast with temperatures reaching up to 36°C. Suwon will experience highs of 37°C, with a similar chance of rain as Seoul and Incheon.

Conversely, Cheongju and Chuncheon are forecasted to have sunny weather without the likelihood of rain. Cheongju's temperatures will touch 36°C, while Chuncheon will see a high of 37°C. Daejeon will also experience sunny conditions but with a minor 10% chance of rain.

In contrast, Gwangju is expected to face heavy rain with a 60% chance, alongside a high temperature of 38°C. Jeju will also experience rainy conditions, with temperatures expected to peak at 33°C and a 60% chance of rain. Gangneung's forecast indicates cloudy weather without precipitation, with a high of 31°C.

Meanwhile, Daegu and Busan will enjoy sunny skies, with temperatures reaching 36°C and 34°C, respectively, and no expected rain. Jeonju will also remain sunny, with a high temperature of 38°C and no anticipated rainfall.
